Earlier today I had an idea for a blog post. It was going to be about choosing your personal settings. Turns out I already had that idea and published it. It was called ‘Default Settings’.

That prompted a new post idea. One in which I would expound on the benefits of revisiting prior work. But I had already written and published that one too. It was called ‘Revisit’.

In both cases my past self had beaten me to ideas. But… there is nothing that says I can’t repeat myself. My thought process in writing on the same topic now would most likely be different.

Most ideas are not new. What matters is the execution.

Don’t be afraid to repeat an idea every now and then. Just execute differently.
